Representing East Sussex Branch of the Pony Club at an AREA competition is a proud moment many members strive for.

These will be upon us VERY soon - action required NOW!

Pony Club UK is divided into 19 Areas

ESPC is one of 18 Branches which forms AREA 11

There is just ONE Area 11 competition for each of the main disciplines

It takes place across our region each summer - see details below

What to do NOW!
Register your interest with ESPC’s Discipline Head (DH) TODAY!

Entries have to go in quickly & weeks ahead & no late entries are allowed.
Entries can ONLY be made via our Branch - this is a new rule for 2022!

  • Check eligibility & tack rules - it is strict! PCUK website Rulebooks & DH’s
  • Valid 6 months vaccination passport required
  • Combinations (horse & rider) must be “Rallied Up” to show a commitment to Pony Club & to demonstrate safe practice - see rulebooks for definition:
  1. Attended 3x qualifying working rallies since July 2021 - at least 1x must have been in 2022 examples are all working rallies at Golden Cross, a course of Test training, a PC camp, Area specific training days, a series of Summer rallies at Montague

  3. Contact your DC for specific clarification ie those at college, uni or work
  • Training sessions & Inter Branch PC competitions are advertised on ESPC website - attend as many as you can

We are very proud of all our members who achieve a level of riding sufficient to enter Area and delighted for the talented few who qualify to attend Championships, definitely a PC career highlight for members and parents!

The atmosphere at Area Competitions is unique

I hope you are fortunate to experience it if not as a competitor then as a supporter...
